How we check every deal
Every deal posted on The Daily Souq goes through a screening process before it reaches you. Products in sensitive categories — food, candy, supplements, and personal care — get an ingredient review: gelatin sources, alcohol-based flavorings, unverified meat, and similar concerns are either cleared, flagged for manual review, or rejected outright. Categories with no ingredient concerns (electronics, home, clothing, toys) are screened against our excluded-categories list instead.
You'll see two badges on food, candy, and supplement deals. ✓ Ingredients Checked means the product passed our ingredient screen — we found no flagged ingredients in the published listing, but the product does not claim certification. ✓ Halal Certified means the listing itself explicitly states certification (for meat and poultry, that means zabiha/halal certified by the producer). We never show unverified meat or poultry at all — anything whose slaughter status we can't confirm from the listing is held back, not posted.
We are not a certification body, and we are not scholars. Our screening is a good-faith filter based on published ingredient lists and certifications — always check the product listing yourself, and consult your own standard where it matters to you. If we got one wrong, tell us: deals@thedailysouq.com — corrections are posted fast.
Prices are accurate at posting time and can change or sell out at any moment — when we detect a dead deal, it's marked expired on the site and in our channels. We may earn an affiliate commission when you buy through our links; it never changes the price you pay, and it never changes which deals we post.
